Biography of

Antoine Lamar Miller

Rev. Antoine Lamar Miller was born to Kathleen Miller and Jeffery Gray on November 4, 1968 in San Leandro, California. He accepted Christ as Lord and Savior and was baptized in 1980 at the age of 12 uniting with the Allen Temple Baptist Church under the Pastorate of Dr. J. Alfred Smith and later joined The Greater Emmanuel Baptist Church under the spiritual guidance of Rev. George Epps.  

For the past 19 years, Rev. Antoine Miller has served as Senior, Lead or Interim Pastor of various ministries. A dedicated and faithful leader, he has committed his life towards leading others to know and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Pastor Miller delivered his first message in April, 1993 at Greater Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of its previous pastor, Rev. George Epps. Before delivering his first message, he served as Junior Deacon, Youth Bible Study Teacher, and taught the Teenage Boys Sunday School class, and was Assistant Finance Secretary.

He continued serving at Greater Emmanuel under the leadership of Pastor Keith Clark. The name of the church was changed from Greater Emmanuel to Word Assembly Baptist Church. He was Sunday School Superintendent, Youth and Young Adult Pastor, and Street Witness Lead.

In October 2005 Pastor Miller earned a Master of Theology from Faith Seminary of Tacoma, WA. He is a graduate of Fremont High School in Oakland, CA. He attended Chabot College in Hayward (9/88-6/89), Merritt College in Oakland (9/89-1/91) and Golden Gate Baptist Seminary in Mill Valley (Oakland extension at Union Baptist Church) (9/93-6/95).

Pastor Miller’s civic duties include National Coalition of Clergy and Community Together in Oakland, CA, where he is presently General Secretary; and Bay Cities Baptist Ministers Union in Oakland, CA, where he proudly served as Recording Secretary, And Crisis Intervention Specialist.

In September 2009, became co-host of the Nationally Syndicated Christian Talk-Show “ISSUES AFTER DARK” 

 Pastor, Antoine Miller is married to Rebecca E. Miller and they are the proud parents of three children. Daughter, Autumn Breann, and sons, Christian Maurice and Lamar Antoine Miller
